Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Project manager to join. The role is focused on leading one or more deals within State Street where deals focus on end-to-end functional testing in support of our clients and internal business units.

The successful candidate must be skilled in leading multi-year programs consisting of complex business models and flows across front middle and back office operating models in both an insourced and outsourced model.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the day-to-day management of executing to milestones and reporting on one or more Test projects.

Manage Testing team/s with respect to on-time and proper execution of tasks internal trainings control and reporting to Senior Management.

Day-to-day leadership management & support of Testing projects.

Active management through goals key performance and quality indicators with view of improving overall quality and timeliness of Testing delivery.

Building and maintenance of strong client relationships that enforces the quality of the Service of State Street

Building effective relationships with all work streams (Front Middle Back offices) and other teams

Provide functional test analysis planning design execution and reporting for testing assignments.

Estimation & Milestone planning for the project and provide estimates for the UAT.

Highlight Risk and issues at management level in timely manner.

Ability to identify the issues across teams and bring it to Management attention and bring peace to the team.

Prepare where required: Test Strategy Test Plan Test Cases Test Scripts Test Data Test Coverage analysis for a given testing assignment.

Play a lead role in the analysis and reporting of test results working closely with business technology and support areas to investigate and interpret test findings.

Assist in the reception and quality assurance of the business requirements solution design and business process documents individual projects.

Participate in understanding requirements resolving problems/issues suggesting solutions and identifying areas for service improvement.

Skills needed.

Possesses 10 years of experience in project management that includes UAT SIT Regression and other types of Testing projects both manual and automated.

Demonstrable ability to independently create a project plan charter forecasting understanding budget vs actuals variance analyses managing stakeholders communication project updates project deliverables including tracking them to closure.

Must have working experience in Trade and Order Management System across various instrument types.

Experience in Charles River or any Order Management System is preferable.

Very good understanding of the Front to Back-office processes

Demonstrate abilities to work with people across geographic locations. Expected to be a good communicator in English.

Possession of decent functional knowledge ( 7 out of 10 on a scale of 1-10 1 being poor 10 being excellent)on the Capital Markets especially Middle Office and Front Office functions. Knowledge about the UAT (User Acceptance Testing) - end of end is mandatory.

Demonstrable ability to highlight project risks and creating plans to mitigate them.

Demonstrable ability to understand and work on Use Cases arranging end user demos and creating placeholders for knowledge management.

Demonstrable ability to train and retain people promptly highlight people related issues to the senior management determining and delivering appropriate actions.

Experience in defect Tracking and Defect Management Tool like HP ALM JIRA

Ability to be instrumental in regular end user client and State Street stakeholder updates with regards to the Delivery of the programmed.

Deep understanding of work order management and ability to define deliverables.

Experience in Test Co-ordination and Test Status Reporting

Experience in writing SQL queries during problem solving and extracting data from various sources.

Experience in Eagle Portia SIMCORP or any Accounting application is preferable.

Experience in accounting functionalities - Pricing Corporate Actions Valuations collateral custody reconciliations

Ready to work on the ground as needed flexible and adopt to changing environment.
