Job Description

Project Scope:

Michigan Gaming Control Board (MGCB) has applications that are being supported with sunset technologies. The applications support the compliance security registration and management of responsible gaming database (problem gamblers) functions within MGCB.

The objective of this project is to modernize the legacy IT applications used by the Michigan Gaming Control Board (MGCB). This will be achieved by rewriting them using current supported technologies thereby mitigating risks associated with end-of-life applications and ensuring ongoing operational support for MGCB business functions.

Roles/Responsibilities:

  • Develop robust scalable and maintainable full-stack solutions using modern frameworks and technologies.
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers DevOps engineers testers and business analysts.
  • Ensure clean code practices proper architecture patterns and adherence to development standards.
  • Participate in code reviews agile ceremonies and DevOps deployment processes.

Mandatory Skills:

  1. 3 years of strong hands-on experience with any front-end library/framework such as React or Angular or (React or Angular or )
  2. 3 years of strong hands-on experience with .NET C# (.NET Core Web APIs C#).
  3. 3 years of experience in SQL Server. (SQL Server Entity Framework)
  4. Associates degree or higher
