Job Description

Job Title: Supplier Development Engineer (SDE)

Location: Ventura California (onsite only)

Job Description:

  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience is mandatory
  • Drive APQP activities at suppliers.
  • Follow up with suppliers in part development in a timely manner.
  • Educate Suppliers about the Parker PPAP/FAIR and other quality requirements.
  • Evaluate PPAP documentation and align with Parker Quality requirements.
  • Conduct onsite PPAP audits at vendor ends.
  • Analyze quality issues at supplier end work on RCA and corrective actions closure.
  • Supplier query resolution and if required connect with cross functional team to ensure query get resolved in time.
  • Constant follow up with suppliers to ensure they support all work transfer activities (FAI PPAP etc.) in a timely manner to support on time completion of work transfers.
  • Provide weekly updates on work transfer progress.
  • Assist Tactical Team with sort/containment activity due to Purchased component issues.
  • Quickly develop skills pertaining to Supplier quality tools available for job execution.
  • Liaison activity between Supplier and Parker Customer on RCCA.
  • 20% Domestic travel required.
