Job Description
Job Title: Supplier Development Engineer (SDE)
Location: Ventura California (onsite only)
Job Description:
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience is mandatory
- Drive APQP activities at suppliers.
- Follow up with suppliers in part development in a timely manner.
- Educate Suppliers about the Parker PPAP/FAIR and other quality requirements.
- Evaluate PPAP documentation and align with Parker Quality requirements.
- Conduct onsite PPAP audits at vendor ends.
- Analyze quality issues at supplier end work on RCA and corrective actions closure.
- Supplier query resolution and if required connect with cross functional team to ensure query get resolved in time.
- Constant follow up with suppliers to ensure they support all work transfer activities (FAI PPAP etc.) in a timely manner to support on time completion of work transfers.
- Provide weekly updates on work transfer progress.
- Assist Tactical Team with sort/containment activity due to Purchased component issues.
- Quickly develop skills pertaining to Supplier quality tools available for job execution.
- Liaison activity between Supplier and Parker Customer on RCCA.
- 20% Domestic travel required.
