Northwest Partners is partnering with a premier client in the technology industry to hire an experienced full-time Senior Network and Cloud Administrator. This role is critical in managing and optimizing the organizations network infrastructure and cloud services to ensure reliability security and scalability. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of technical expertise and leadership capabilities to drive strategic IT initiatives.
What YOU will do:Design deploy and maintain on-premises network infrastructure including routers switches firewalls and VPNs.
Implement network monitoring tools to maintain performance troubleshoot issues and reduce downtime.
Plan and execute upgrades and expansions for scalable and modernized network infrastructure.
Manage and optimize cloud environments across public and hybrid platforms (AWS Azure etc.).
Provision and configure cloud resources such as virtual machines containers and storage.
Implement robust cloud security measures including IAM policies and encryption standards.
Integrate on-premise and cloud infrastructures into a seamless IT environment.
Automate provisioning configuration and deployment tasks using scripting and infrastructure-as-code tools.
Lead and mentor junior administrators and collaborate with cross-functional IT teams.
Participate in and lead infrastructure projects to introduce new technologies and improve operational YOU will bring us:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in network and cloud administration preferably at the enterprise level.
Deep knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP DNS DHCP VLANs) and cloud platforms (AWS Azure Google Cloud).
Experience with network hardware (Cisco Juniper) and cloud services (EC2 S3 Azure Virtual Network etc.).
Strong understanding of cloud security best practices and compliance (CIS GDPR HIPAA).
Excellent communication leadership and cross-team collaboration skills.
Relevant certifications such as CCNA CCNP AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Azure Administrator are a plus.
