Position Details: Early Childhood Special Education Teacher
- Title: Special Education Teacher
- Location: Olympia Fields IL
- Duration: 08/22/25 to 06/12/26
- Onsite/Virtual: Onsite
- Position Type: Contract
- Working Hours: 7:00 am to 3:30 pm from Monday to Friday
- Student Age Group: Kindergarten/Elementary school
- Case Load: 5-7 students
Responsibilities: Early Childhood Special Education Teacher
- Prepare student individual education programs in consultation with parents and IEP team members
- Design instruction both individual programs and small group which parallels the general education curriculum
- Act as a case manager of IEP implementation with general education staff
- Monitor student progress and participation in review and revision of IEP as appropriate
- Assist other professional staff in identifying learning/behavior disabilities development of remediation plans and evaluation of student progress
- Maintain appropriate student data and other records and submit reports as required
- Articulate curriculum between and among student levels
- Manage classroom organization
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications: Early Childhood Special Education Teacher
- Experience working with special education students
- Experience modifying/adapting general education curriculum
- Experience providing education services in varied environments
- Illinois Professional Educator License with LBS1 or ECE SPED.
