Job Description
Mesotech International is seeking a dynamic and hands-on Engineering Manager (Electronic Systems) to drive the development and continuous improvement of our advanced meteorological measurement systems. This role is ideal for a multidisciplinary engineer with a proven track record of leading complex projects that integrate software hardware and mechanical components.
This position is well-suited for someone who thrives in a collaborative small-team environment and is comfortable contributing both as a technical expert and a project leader. The role involves approximately 90% technical execution and 10% leadership and oversight.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional engineering projects that span electronic hardware embedded systems software and mechanical design.
- Develop and execute strategic plans for high-impact technically complex initiatives.
- Solve advanced engineering challenges with broad implications for product performance and company success.
- Design develop and integrate electronic and embedded systems from concept through deployment.
- Drive product innovation and enhancements based on user feedback and operational data; oversee implementation by the engineering team.
- Define and manage product roadmaps development milestones and delivery schedules in collaboration with senior leadership.
- Recommend and implement improvements to engineering workflows across development testing manufacturing and deployment phases.
- Act as the technical liaison between engineering and other departments such as sales production documentation and customer support.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers fostering technical growth and project ownership.
Qualifications :
Minimum Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance
- Bachelors degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in electronics engineering or a closely related field
- At least 2 years of experience in an engineering leadership or product ownership role
Preferred Qualifications
- Active Secret security clearance is highly desirable

Mesotech offers a comprehensive and generous benefits program including health insurance PTO and 401k. Actual annual compensation offered will be based on several variables including work experience education skills and/or achievements and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer. Qualified candidates can expect an annual salary between $120000 and $140000. Mesotech is an equal opportunity employer.
