This position manages a team of Experiential Learning Specialists and supervises practicum operations to support students served by the team. The Manager is responsible for coordinating and conducting training for team members and other stakeholders essential to the functions of the team; developing managing and evaluating processes and strategies that promote high efficiency within the practicum coordination team; and supporting the achievement of student practicum learning outcomes. This position reports to the Director Clinical Operations.
Responsibilities
- Manages daily activities of Experiential Learning Specialist team.
- Interviews hires trains and develops practicum coordinators.
- Ensures that student placement is completed by established deadlines.
- Participates in problem-solving for student concerns related to practicum experiences and facilitates appropriate intervention.
- Serve as a primary resource for escalated student issues as they arise and works to provide timely resolution.
- Provides accurate student placement and other reports to stakeholders.
- Evaluates practicum processes and implements appropriate quality improvements; including the development and maintenance of standard operating procedures.
- Implements and monitors key indicators of practicum coordination effectiveness.
- Interfaces with clinical agencies to support successful practicum placement experiences.
- Uses systems and technologies effectively to support processes and reporting.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for practicum requirements for internal and external audiences. Contributes to the content of student and partner-facing collateral and communication.
- Acts as a liaison between faculty leadership and experential learning specialists.
- Completes other duties as assigned.

Qualifications :
- Bachelors Degree Required
- 3 years of customer service-related experience. Required and
- 3 yeas of management experience Preferred and
- Knowledge or direct experience working in healthcare field with or for providers Preferred
- A highly motivated self-starter who can function as a team player and desires to share creative solutions and best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills
- Excellent organizational problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Attention to detail and mental concentration are necessary for accurately performing tasks and to balance multiple tasks simultaneously and tolerate frequent interruptions
Additional Information :
In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country the expected salary range for this position is between $70696.34 and $124230.14. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
