Job Description
Primary Function of Position:
Ensure the security safety and well-being of all personnel visitors and the premises. Safeguard and protect the employees and assets of the company.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property inspecting buildings equipment and access points.
- Ensure operation of security equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following instructions troubleshooting malfunctions calling for repairs; evaluating new security equipment and techniques.
- Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities informs violations to the security policies and procedures.
- Completes reports by recording observations information occurrences incidents and surveillance activities.
- Maintains organizations stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements.
- Conducts internal and external surveillance rounds in the facilities with the objective of detecting and reporting suspicious behavior unsafe acts incidents risks and emergencies.
- Meets the requirements and/or support that the company needs.
- Follows procedures for various initiatives including fire prevention property patrol traffic control and incident investigations.
- Contribute to team effort by achieving related results as needed.
- Keeps fences and doors always closed to prevent intrusions and/or incidents.
- Conducts random security inspections to persons and/or vehicles that enter and exit the installations.
- Escort personnel inside and/or outside the facilities.
- Controls the entry and exit of assets.
- Control and management of keys and locks.
- It ensures that all employees and visitors have proper credentials for accessing buildings (ID badges & access cards).
- Assist employees and visitors with any concerns they might have.
- Escalate emergency situations to law enforcement as needed.
- Verifies security conditions in buildings by inspecting offices rooms doors and windows adequate lighting conditions covering areas to prevent and detect theft fire misuse of equipment unauthorized access among others.
- Records the entry and exit of materials and/or equipments in the electronic log.
- Maintains control over the entry and exit of materials and/or equipments records in the buildings.
- Verifies and validates that the material entry and exit pass Mxico has all the authorized signatures or approval.
- Conducts inspections of the material and/or equipments that enters and/or exits the company.
- Secures and retains any unauthorized materials equipment tools and/or assets to leave the company.
- Informs to immediate superior or supervisor of any anomaly regarding security measures protocols policies procedures and/or controls established by the company.
- Control of traffic by directing drivers.
- Remains in compliance with local state and federal regulations.
- Protect the companys assets relative to theft assault fire and other security issues.
- Informs to immediate supervisor any anomaly in the entry and exit of materials equipments tools assets process established by the company.
- Provides support in case of emergency situations (emergency response).
- Complies with the specific activities of the position and/or security policies procedures work instructions and forms.
- Reports to the immediate superior the activation of alarms electric fence security sensors and/or fire system.
- Reports to the immediate superior any damage detected on walls cyclonic mesh bars gates doors CCTV cameras electric fence security sensors fire system lampposts and lighting system during surveillance rounds to repair it immediately.
- Reports to the immediate superior any damage and/or malfunction of security equipment programs systems and/or work tools.
- Maintains control of the badges issue to contractors new hires suppliers and visitors.
- Register all the people who arrive at the facility (contractors suppliers visitors new hires).
- Monitors the buildings perimeter video surveillance system to detect suspicious behavior unsafe acts intrusions and/or criminal activity.
- Properly use of the security equipment assigned (portable radio computer tablets cellphone telephone extension and other electronic devices).
- Adhere to all operating standards of the company.
- Report any anomaly and/or incident to the immediate superior and/or patrimonial security representative.
- Act according to all policies procedures and regulations established by the company.
- Identify potential security risks and respond accordingly.
- Control and management of security documents in the storage room.
- Conduct security aerial tours in diverse areas of the site using the drone patrol equipment system to identify and/or detect any suspicious behavior unsafe acts intrusions and/or criminal activity.
Qualifications :
Skills Experience Education & Training:
- Skills: written and verbal communication following complex instructions interpersonal skills manage multiple tasks surveillance skills judgment objectivity emotional control integrity loyal follow instructions attention to detail good physical condition and health.
- Experience: 1 year in an industrial environment.
- Education: High school qualification or equivalent.
- Training and/or knowledge: basic security safety CTPAT and OEA supply chain security certification programs inspections handling of fire extinguishers basic first aid risk prevention Microsoft office basic/intermediate level use of radio customer service.
