Job Description
REQUIREMENTS:
- Total experience 10 years.
- Deep knowledge of MongoDB database administration.
- Strong understanding of MongoDB architecture and internals.
- Experience with backup/restore replica set sharding and patching/upgrades.
- Hands-on with Ops Manager for MongoDB monitoring and management.
- Proven experience in the banking/financial services domain is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems.
- Good understanding of Agile practices and modern automation tools like Ansible Jenkins Terraform.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash and Python
- Extensive experience in PostgreSQL database administration.
- Expertise in PostgreSQL HA clustering and monitoring tools.
- Proficient in backup/restore performance tuning and diagnostics.
- Good knowledge of SQL and PG PL/SQL.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Administer monitor and optimize MongoDB and PostgreSQL databases.
- Ensure high availability and disaster recovery across environments.
- Perform database patching upgrades and migrations.
- Implement and manage security best practices logging and auditing.
- Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to implement automation and CI/CD pipelines.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex database issues efficiently.
- Automate database administration tasks using Bash/Python/Ansible.
- Handle backup/restore upgrades replication sharding and performance tuning.
- Ensure high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) for critical applications.
Qualifications :
Bachelors or masters degree in computer science Information Technology or a related field.
