We are currently seeking a Casual Barista to join our Food & Beverage team. Based in our lively caf space this role is perfect for someone who is passionate about coffee and enjoys creating a warm welcoming experience for every guest. Youll also have the opportunity to support other areas of the department such as breakfast service or events depending on business needs.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve high-quality espresso coffee and other caf beverages to order
Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the caf area including coffee machine upkeep
Provide friendly and engaging service to both hotel guests and external visitors
Assist with food service including light meals pastries and snacks
Support caf operations including opening/closing duties and stock rotation
Upsell daily specials and menu items where appropriate
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery
Qualifications :
Previous barista experience in a busy caf or hospitality environment (minimum 6 months)
Strong knowledge of coffee extraction milk texturing and grinder calibration
Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate (or willingness to obtain)
A positive can-do attitude and excellent customer service skills
Ability to work across a flexible roster including mornings weekends and public holidays
A polished and professional appearance with strong communication skills
Ability to multi-task and remain calm under pressure
A team player who takes pride in their work and contributes to a positive team culture
