Job Description
Job Title: Inventory Control Specialist
Department: IC
Reports To: Anthony Centers
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Inventory Control Specialist to manage and maintain accurate inventory records within our warehouse. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of physical inventory monitoring stock levels conducting audits and supporting the overall efficiency of warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels through regular counts and cycle audits.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with receiving shipping and operations teams to track inventory movements.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to input and retrieve data.
- Prepare inventory reports for management and assist in planning inventory strategies.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in inventory software systems and MS Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Forklift certification.
Working Conditions:
- Work is performed in a warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- May require occasional overtime or weekend work during peak periods.
