The Membership Specialist position is a part-time position (up to 19 hours/ week) and is responsible for preparing and facilitating programs for girls in communities throughout Garner Fuquay Varina Cary and Morrisville.
The hourly rate for this position is $16.00.

High school diploma.
Sales or recruitment experience and skills.
Strong organizational skills.
Self-starter; ability to work independently or in teams.
Experience and sensitivity in working with people from a variety of backgrounds.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Ability to work with children and deliver fun engaging activities that meet the curriculum goals.
Strong experiential-based classroom management skills.
Comfortable resolving conflict with both girls and adults.
Ability to quickly grasp Girl Scout program and curriculum and deliver to girls; basic knowledge of Girl Scout GSLE / Journey program preferred.
Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends required.
Commitment to GSNCCP and GSUSA Diversity Equity and Inclusion initiatives.
Must be willing to obtain a GSUSA membership ($25 annually) upon employment.
This position requires driving a council vehicle or a personal vehicle; therefore the individual must successfully complete a motor vehicle history check possess and maintain a current valid drivers license and self-report any vehicle violations.
Ability to travel to sites within the councils jurisdiction including program and school sites within a 150-mile radius of the nearest Councils office.
Ability to tolerate occasional exposure to seasonal weather conditions.
