We are currently seeking a Data Engineer Lead to join our team in Nashville Tennessee (US-TN) United States (US).

Overview:
NTT DATA is seeking a highly experienced consultant and data engineer to join NTT DATAs innovative Data Village team as a Data Village Player Coach in Nashville. This onsight role focuses on enabling enterprise-scale Business Intelligence frameworks with astrong emphasis on Power BI Snowflake Azure and secure data infrastructure.
The ideal candidate will have over 6 years of experience in data engineering with a focus on enterprise analytics and deep expertise in Power BI including framework support capacity management and enterprise enablement. In addition the ideal candidate will have:
- Strong scripting skills in Python and PowerShell.
- Experience with Snowflake as a primary cloud analytics platform.
- Strong understanding of hybrid on-prem/cloud architectures.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric and capacity planning.
- Proficiency in managing secure data environments and encrypted data flows.
- Excellent analytical communication and client-facing skills.
- Ability to multitask prioritize and adapt in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support and manage Power BI at the enterprise level enabling analytics across 20 business units.
- Act as a first responder for Power BI dashboard issues and framework-level escalations.
- Maintain and enhance 1015 enterprise-wide Power BI frameworks for automation in instance deployment version upgrades and analytic/viz framework design.
- Perform proof-of-concepts (POCs) and adapt to evolving BI tools.
- Collaborate with business units to ensure visualization standards and performance optimization.
- Manage and automate Power BI Gateway deployments across 200 VMs.
- Support migration to Microsoft Fabric capacity and manage premium capacity environments.
- Ensure secure handling of highly confidential data with full encryption protocols.
- Troubleshoot Snowflake connectivity and optimize queries for performance.
- Build and maintain robust batch and streaming data pipelines using Python and PowerShell.
Basic Requirements:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field.
- 6 years of experience in data engineering with a focus on enterprise analytics.
- 4 years of Power BI experience (framework support capacity management enterprise enablement etc.)
- 3 years of scripting skills in Python and PowerShell.
- 2 years of experience with Snowflake as a primary cloud analytics platform.
- 2 years of experience working on hybrid on-prem/cloud architectures (Azure AWS GCP)
