Job Description
This is a full time Teamster Union position. This position rotates seasonally between the Golf Course and the Ice Arena. Under the supervision of the Ice Arena and Facilities Superintendent and/or the Golf Grounds Superintendent the Dual Facility Operator is responsible for the daily operation and maintenance of both facilities. The role requires hands-on work equipment operation and customer service. Specialized knowledge of ice arena operations golf course maintenance and the ability to work independently are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
This position supports the seasonal operations of both the Ice Arena and Golf Course. In the winter responsibilities include ice maintenance using the Zamboni sharpening rental skates handling admissions and concessions maintaining cleanliness and serving as the on-site contact in the supervisors absence. During the golf season duties include mowing trimming landscaping course setup and basic irrigation and equipment upkeep. Year-round responsibilities include custodial work light facility maintenance and other general support tasks as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 13 years of ice arena experience preferred
- Valid drivers license with acceptable driving record
- Strong customer service time management and decision-making skills
- Ability to perform light building maintenance and operate small equipment
- Must be able to lift 60 lbs stand for extended periods and work in various weather conditions
- Must be available to work nights weekends and a rotating schedule
