Job Title
Leave AdministratorPosition Overview
Provide excellent concierge-style customer service as a leave calls email and chats for all associates internal and external business partners and/or family member inquires related to FMLA Military Workers Compensation Accommodations and Shaw Leave of absences. Provide a high average of first call resolution of issues and have discretion related to associates confidential and sensitivepersonal/family health information. Manage leave administration processes withinWorkDayGenesys andWorkForcefor leave resolutions. Manage leave eligibility within guidelines of Federal State and Local in maintaining and updating various communications to business partners for resolution. Perform as a good listener problem-solver communicator and associate advocate offering empathy in every interaction.
PrimaryResponsibilities:
Managehigh volumeleave of absences from the initial report to return to work or leave resolution in compliance with all federal and state laws and established Shaw policies.
Obtain andanalyzemedical information to determine eligibility and availability of leave time for each associate requesting leave.
Manage facilitateand communicatedisability plansleave policies including FMLA notificationrequest eligibility and certification processing.
Research and respondto associates management and Human Resources regarding basic leave of absence topics falling within the parameters of leave policies procedures and regulations inaaccurate and timely manner.
Provide customer service to associates on leave by anticipating their needs and answering questions timely and accurately
Provide timely noticesincludingto local HR Offices andthe associates regardingreturn to work or leave exhaustion.
Manage leave of absence daily inWorkDayto ensure accurate benefits billing and payroll processing.
Daily management ofWorkforce to ensure accurate time and attendance coding and corrections.
Calculate and track leave usage and exhaustion for associates on FMLA or Medical Leave as well as track short-term disability benefit periods and facilitating long-term disability claimsfor eligible associates.
Partner with facility management pertaining to accommodations workerscompensationand personal leave of absences.
Assist Human Resource offices with time and attendance pertaining to non-traditional leaves.
Monitor leaveexpirations the return to work process and amendments to approved leaves in a timely manner.
Monitor process efficiency reporting and error resolution as needed.
Research and respond to information request and appeals in a timely manner.
Participate in software testing
Develop problem solving skills by demonstrating analytical and logical thinking by making fair and objective leave decisions.
Protects the Company against liabilities by following established guidelines and regulations.
May perform other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:
Bilingual in English and Spanish
High school Diploma/GED
Customer service/decision making experience
Preferred:
Experience with general leave regulations and policies
Prior Healthcare experience
