Job Description
Do you have a passion for making a real difference in the lives of people living with substance-use and mental health challenges At Easterseals PORT Health were seeking a compassionate and dedicated Mid-level Medical Provider to join our Outpatient Therapy Team (OPT) in Rocky Mount NC. As a valued member of our collaborative and supportive team you will work together to transform the lives of individuals by providing a comprehensive range of services that treat the whole person and empower patients to find their way forward.
What Youll Do
The primary purpose of the Mid-level Provider Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or Physicians Assistant (PA) is to provide stabilization and treatment services to mental health / substance using clients and work in collaboration with other clinical professions to facilitate positive outcomes for them. Services provided to patients include but are not limited to giving medical diagnosis ordering therapy and prescribing medications as well as medication management. The Provider maintains accurate and up to date referral sources a therapeutic environment and promotes appropriate and healthy interpersonal behavior. Supervision is provided for NPs and PAs.

Youll earn a competitive salary based on your experience plus enjoy a Monday-Friday 8 am-5 pm work schedule with some evening flexibility for program and client needs. This Full time position will work out of the Rocky Mount clinic providing in-person care to patients in addition to providing tele-health to other clinics. - Current NC License to practice or Certification Required as a NP or PA
- Substance Use and/or Medication Assisted Treatment experience preferred
