Behavioral Health Therapist IV Job Responsibilities:
- Serves as clinical expert providing a range of therapeutic services psychoeducational programming and behavioral interventions to assist the client in achieving progress towards the goals and objectives of individualized treatment plans.
- Assesses and diagnoses mental health and/or substance use disorders through a bio/psycho/social department specific and evidenced based assessment identifying patient and family goals/needs.
- Serves as a clinical leader by providing clinical supervision to team members seeking licensure as well as supervision/mentoring of graduate students during clinical internships.
- Integrates assessments using information related to cultural clinical ethnic age and other factors into the plan of care while providing a range of therapeutic interventions psycho-educational programming and behavioral interventions (when indicated) to assist the patient/family in achieving the goals and objectives of the individualized service plan.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education:Masters Degree Ph.D. PsyD EdD in Mental Health Social Work Counseling Substance Use Disorders or Behavioral Health related field.
- Experience: Five years of experience post licensure in mental health/substance use disorder treatment psychoeducational programming including targeted evidence-based interventions (crisis intervention trauma and integrative therapies).
- Certification:Basic Life Support (BLS) American Heart Association within 3 months of hire. Crisis Prevention Institute within 6 months of hire. CPI in-person training for non-violent crisis intervention receive CPI blue card within 6 months of hire.
- Licensure: Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist LMFT) Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Licensed Clinical Psychologist (LCP) or Licensed Substance Abuse Professional (LSATP). Approved Clinical Supervisor Within 3 Months
Preferred Qualifications:
- Run a specialized group one-on-one therapy
