The Financial Systems Support Manager is responsible for providing operational direction and leadership related to financial systems. The Financial Systems Support Manager provides supervision and leadership in the development maintenance accuracy and ongoing operation of complex and heavily integrated financial systems and technologies in support of multiple business units. These systems include but are not limited to: SAP General Ledger SAP Subledger (Accounts Payable Fixed Assets/Asset Accounting Accounts Receivable) SAP Business Warehouse SAP ARIBA SAP Concur SAP Fieldglass Legal Matter and Expense Management Real Estate Management Master Data Management Oracle Hyperion and Oracle Data Relationship Management. Work closely with users and participate in design sessions. Point of contact for the developers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed both major and minor which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.

1. Lead a team of financial systems professionals with responsibility for a wide variety of complex and high-risk activities such as general ledger and reporting system administration and maintenance.
2. Responsible for daily monthly quarterly and annual processing for financial systems.
3. Ensure data integrity accuracy and availability of financial systems.
4. Ensure operational and business processes are adhered to service level agreements are met accurate financial reporting and adequate internal controls are maintained.
5. Actively contribute to strategic projects that may have a significant impact to Truist such as the selection design development and implementation of financial reporting systems.
6. Ensure that financial reporting controls remain strong.
7. Provide leadership in the management of routine maintenance requests functional configuration/development and upkeep and relative controls for each of the financial management applications.
8. Oversee the general ledger chart of accounts governance change management and end to end maintenance process in multiple complex and highly integrated financial systems.
9. The chart of accounts is the foundation for internal management reporting to Executive Leadership Board of Directors and Senior Leadership and is also the foundation for external reporting to the Banks shareholders the SEC and other regulatory agencies such as the Federal Reserve Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) and the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC).
10. Oversee the governance change management end to end maintenance and publication process of all financial reporting hierarchies including general ledger accounts centers products and any other necessary structures to support the reporting needs of diverse lines of business in a highly complex reporting environment.
11. Communicate with internal and external auditors and examiners (if required) on new and existing processes and controls to ensure agreement and adherence by all parties.
12. Accurately analyze information; integrate people processes systems and technologies; and make strategic decisions regarding scope impact policy development and implementation.
13. Responsible for the maintenance and administration of key financial reports including the GAAP balance sheet and income statement.
14. Oversee the development testing and implementation of conceptual frameworks that may be required for analyzing operating results or compliance with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelors degree in accounting Finance Business Administration Economics or equivalent education and related training.
2. Ten years of relevant finance systems experience preferably in the banking industry.
3. Five years in an environment using integrated platforms integrated data and governance platforms.
4. Five years of leadership and supervisory experience.
5. Excellent verbal written and presentation skills with the ability to define problems and persuasively present conclusions Intelligent strong and decisive leadership within an organization as a result of high integrity intellectual clarity and a passion for excellence.

4 days in office/1 day remote

Raleigh NC can be another location option.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Masters degree in Finance Accounting or Business Administration.
