Job Type: Part-time Permanent
Our client a small and welcoming residential care home with a Good CQC rating is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Sous Chef to join their kitchen team. What Were Looking For
- Sous Chef experience or a background in catering for care homes schools healthcare or similar environments
- Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 2 or above)
- Knowledge of allergies dietary needs and texture-modified diets
- Passion for food and creativity in the kitchen
- Strong communication and teamworking skills
- A positive attitude and commitment to resident wellbeing

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of fresh seasonal meals tailored to residents needs including special diets and modified textures
- Support the Head Chef with menu planning kitchen organisation and daily operations
- Ensure all food is prepared to the highest hygiene and safety standards
- Assist with stock rotation food storage and ordering as required
- Maintain a clean well-organised kitchen environment at all times
- Help foster a calm collaborative kitchen culture
