Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking an experienced and detail-orientedQA Lead for our quality assurance efforts across retail e-commerce platforms. In this role you will provide technical guidance and mentor a team of testers develop and implement test strategies and ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams track QA metrics and drive continuous improvement in testing processes.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Leading a team of testers and be responsible for the quality of their work
- Creating test plans and strategies
- Identifying and documenting defects
- Tracking Quality Assurance metrics (e.g. defect density open defect count)
- Participating in daily stand-up meetings sprint planning and sprint retrospectives
- Coordinating with other teams to ensure timely delivery of quality software products
- ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum Degree Required: Bachelors Degree
- Years of experience: 8 years experience in software testing
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITY:
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies and tools with strong retail experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lead and motivate a team of testers
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Experience with test management tools (e.g. JIRA Quality Center)
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Retail E-commerce QA Strategy & Leadership:Define and implement QA test plans focused on our e-commerce platforms including websites mobile apps and supporting systems. This involves developing comprehensive test plans.

Occasionally walks and stands.
Seldom/Never lifts up to 50 lbs.
INDEPENDENT JUDGEMENT:
Develops objectives and general policies and procedures for a specific program or functional area of responsibility within general scope of established operational goals and plans. Day-to-day work and decisions do not require direction or review by immediate supervisor. End results are reviewed by supervisor.
