Job Overview/Summary:
Working in long-term care offers many rewards-from meaningful relationships to a deep sense of purpose. We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Licensed Nursing Home Administrator to oversee and direct the daily operations of our long-term care community. Responsibilities:
Lead manage and direct the overall operations of the community.
Ensure compliance with federal state and local regulations and standards.
Develop implement and monitor policies and procedures.
Oversee resident care to ensure it meets the highest standards of quality.
Manage community budgets and achieve business objectives.
Supervise and support department heads and staff to foster a collaborative team environment.
Promote positive resident and family relations.
Primary Skills:
Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (active and in good standing in applicable state).
Knowledge of relevant federal and state regulations.
Excellent leadership and interpersonal communication skills.
Strong organizational problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Secondary Skills (Good to Have):
Experience with electronic medical records and long-term care software systems.
Conflict resolution and team-building expertise.
Multilingual communication abilities (especially English proficiency).
Qualifications:
Active Nursing Home Administrator license in the state of practice.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory role within a long-term care setting.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and people management capabilities.
Must not pose a direct threat to the health and safety of others in the workplace.
