Assignment Start Date: 7/15/2025
Shift Information: M-F days
Facility Salary: $71489.60 to $92936.48
*$10000 Sign On* $15000 Relocation and Retention Bonus Eligible

Uses holistic approach in provision of medical social services to patients and their families to assist in solving or ameliorating physical social emotional and/or environmental problems which retard or prevent patients from attaining or retaining optimum health. Social services are provided to people of all ages from the intra-uterine through the elderly.
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION
Experience:
- One (1) year of experience in a hospital or health-care setting.
Education:
- MSW (Master of Social Work) from an accredited school of Social Work
Licenses Certifications and/or Registration:
- State of Alaska license at Masters level (LMSW) required or eligibility.
- A valid Alaska State drivers license is required.
EMR System: Cerner experience preferred
Vaccination Requirement: ALL TRAVELERS ARE REQUIRED TO SHOW PROOF OF COMPLETED COVID-19 VACCINATIONS.
Knowledge Skills & Abilities:
- Basic knowledge of computer use.
- Prefer experience working in a cross-cultural setting with bilingual language skills in English & Yupik.
- Ability to read comprehend & write at the college level & effectively present information in one-on-one & group situations to patients/clients agencies communities & other employees of the organization.
- Ability to add subtract multiply/divide in all units of measure with whole numbers common fractions & decimals; compute rate ratio percent; draw/interpret bar graphs.
- Should be able to perform supervisory tasks when the supervisor is away work independently and collaborate with other social workers.
