AZ-ED RN (Nights)

Mobile Health Team Inc. a staffing agency has openings for a Registered Nurse - Emergency Room. We are looking for someone with a passion for people.

Location: Fort Defiance AZ 86504

Assignment Start Date: 7/28/2025

13 weeks Nights 12-hour shift 36 hours/week guaranteed

Emergency Department consists of an 11-bed Main ED a 6-bed ED Fast Track and a 7-bed ED Observation Unit. All ED nurses are expected to rotate through each of these areas regularly. In addition nurses are assigned to Triage Quick Registration the Covid Tent and Entry Screening. Nurses can expect to be assigned a different area at a minimum daily and may be rotated during their shift depending on the patient volume and needs of the unit.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION

Experience:

• Must have a minimum of 2 years of recent ED RN experience.
• Must have completed at least one travel assignment.
• May be assigned to assist with COVID testing and/or immunization clinics as needed.

Licenses Certifications and/or Registration:

• An active unrestricted AZ State RN license is required.
• Must have American Heart Association BLS/BCLS
• ACLS PALS/ENPC and TNCC are required.
• Must have conscious sedation certification (Obtained through the facility after confirmation-$105 fee)

EMR System: RPMS experience preferred

Shift: Shift will be scheduled for Night Shift (7p-7a) but flexible to work Day Shift Weekend and Holidays with a maximum of one (1) week RTO if needed. Shifts may change during the contract and may need to cover day shift as the facility does rely heavily on contractors so as one leaves someones shift may change to accommodate their staffing needs. Schedule is typically 7 on 7 off with 36 hours one week and 48 hours the next.

Float Requirement: Travelers are occasionally expected to float to other departments in which they are qualified to work. This could include taking a patient load if experienced and competent in that setting or could be task-oriented such as answering call lights phones etc.

Orientation: On Mondays only - If your traveler misses the compliance deadline they will be pushed to the following Monday. Business casual/scrubs are ok.
