Job Description
Job Title : Software Engineer (Big Data)
Location : Littleton/Waterton CO 80125 (Hybrid)
Contract : 12 Months Contract on W2
Citizenship Requirement: US Citizenship
Pay : $85.00/hr. on W2
Shift: 4/10-1st Shift

RESPONSIBILITIES:
The selected candidate will develop software engineering solutions for Orions Ground Support Tools software team. The individual must demonstrate the ability to apply logical thinking and creative problem-solving to develop enhance or troubleshoot software.
Required Skills:
Extensive experience with Big Data
Experience with Apache Hadoop or AWS
Experience with relational databases
Expertise in Java full-stack development
Knowledge of Telemetry systems and processing
Experience with systems integration
Experience with anomaly investigation and resolution
Willingness for off-hours support to ensure lab productivity
Ability to contribute within a team-oriented environment to achieve long-range goals and objectives
Solid written or verbal communication skills
