Job Description
- Location: Burlington MA 01805
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: Rotating 7:00 AM 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM 7:00 AM
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Weekly Pay Rate: $2520 - $2664
- Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit.
- Monitor and manage patients requiring:
- Vasoactive drips
- High Flow oxygen and BiPAP
- Telemetry monitoring
- Pressor titration
- Assess plan implement and evaluate nursing care plans.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Accurately document all nursing activities and patient responses in the EMR.
- Respond to emergency situations appropriately.
- Educate patients and families regarding care plans and recovery processes.
- Float to other units as needed especially Med/Surg and Telemetry.
- Education: Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) Required.
- License: Active Massachusetts RN License (required).
- Experience:
- Minimum 3 5 years of inpatient experience.
- At least 2 years in PCU/MS/Tele in a Level 1 Trauma facility.
- Prior travel RN experience (preferred)
- Experience titrating pressors managing vasoactive drips managing patients on High Flow and bipap and telemetry experience required.
- Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support-required).
