Job Description
Ultrasound Technologist
Department: Ultrasound
Facility: Athena Medtech
Schedule: Full-Time Tuesday to Friday 7:00 AM 5:00 PM
Weekly Hours: 40 hours
Athena Medtech is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Ultrasound Technologist to join our Imaging Department. This role involves performing high-quality diagnostic ultrasound studies and supporting physicians in the accurate interpretation of imaging results. The ideal candidate will demonstrate sound clinical judgment technical skill and a commitment to patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities-
Perform a wide range of diagnostic ultrasound procedures in accordance with established clinical protocols.

Demonstrate proficiency in the operation of ultrasound equipment and related imaging systems.

Assess and analyze sonographic findings and provide preliminary observations to support radiologists and physicians in diagnosis.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient procedures and findings within PACS and EPIC systems.

Adhere to safety standards and infection control procedures to ensure patient and staff safety.

Provide compassionate professional care while addressing patient needs and concerns during examinations.

Certification: ARDMS certification in Vascular Ultrasound required

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of clinical ultrasound experience

Certifications: BLS required

Systems Proficiency: Experience with PACS and EPIC systems preferred

Excellent imaging technique and clinical assessment skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a clinical team setting

Strong communication and patient interaction skills

Traveler experience preferred
