Job Description
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
Department: Pulmonary Services
Shift: 6:00 PM 6:30 AM (Three 12-hour shifts Monday through Friday)
Weekly Hours: 36
Location: Athena Medtech
Athena Medtech is seeking an experienced and patient-focused Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our Pulmonary Services department. This night shift position plays a vital role in delivering advanced respiratory care to patients with acute and chronic pulmonary conditions.
Qualifications-
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a Respiratory Therapist

Licensure/Certification:

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required

Current state licensure and BLS certification

Preferred Experience: Prior experience as a traveler RRT is a plus

Assess patients to determine the appropriate type and frequency of respiratory treatments

Develop and implement individualized care plans based on diagnoses and patient needs

Monitor document and communicate patient condition and response to therapy

Administer advanced respiratory therapies and evaluate outcomes

Review medication administration and treatment protocols to ensure effectiveness and safety

Educate patients and families on pulmonary conditions treatment plans and community resources

Respond to emergency codes and participate in resuscitation efforts
