Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Location: New York NY

Employment Type: Full-Time
Athena Medtech is seeking a compassionate and reliable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our dedicated healthcare team in New York. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality direct nursing care under the supervision of Registered Nurses and physicians ensuring a safe and supportive environment for our patients. This role is essential to upholding clinical excellence patient satisfaction and team collaboration.
Key Responsibilities-
Deliver safe evidence-based nursing care in compliance with New York State regulations and facility standards

Administer prescribed medications and treatments as directed by healthcare providers

Monitor patient health by checking vital signs recognizing changes in condition and reporting findings appropriately

Accurately document patient care observations and interventions using electronic medical records (EMR) systems
-
Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including hygiene mobility and nutrition
-
Collaborate with physicians RNs and other interdisciplinary team members to coordinate comprehensive patient care

Educate patients and their families on care plans medications and post-treatment instructions

Uphold strict infection control practices and safety protocols

Respond to clinical emergencies promptly and effectively

Active LPN Licensure in New York State (Required)

Current BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification (Required)

Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience preferred (new graduates will be considered)

Proficiency in EMR systems and basic computer skills

Excellent clinical judgment communication and organizational skills

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
