Qualifications Needed:
- Graduate of accredited school of radiologic technology
- 1 year radiologic technologist experience without ARRT-CT or no experience with ARRT-CT
- CLIAFE - comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency
- BCLS Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care
What Youll Do:
- Explain procedures prior to & during exam
- Image correct anatomical area of interest & pathology according to department protocols
- Performing complex procedures considering age related & developmental criteria
- Process & manipulate images analyze image quality troubleshoot make technique adjustments & repeat procedures as needed
- Correctly send & transfer images to PACS
- Assess & recognize the patients emotional physical & cognitive conditions
- Operate care for & maintain equipment between patients (injectors table tops & floors)
- Prepare room for examination (suction oxygen supplies)
- Administer contrast media & other medications in accordance with guidelines
