Job Description
- Provide direct patient care on a 19-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit for adults recovering from stroke trauma or fractures.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing dressing toileting and mobility.
- Monitor document and report patient vital signs using electronic health records (EHR: Pinpoint).
- Support nursing and rehabilitation staff in implementing individualized care and rehabilitation plans.
- Maintain a clean safe and supportive environment to promote patient recovery and independence.
- Foster a compassionate patient-centered care approach encouraging patients to achieve their functional goals.
- Work all shifts (days evenings nights) with flexible per diem scheduling including required weekend shifts.
- No on-call or float requirements; report directly to unit supervisor.
- Communicate effectively and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills in a fast-paced team-oriented environment.
- Utilize vital sign monitors and other equipment as needed; wear any scrub color.
- Must hold active Rhode Island CNA and current CPR certification.
- Rehabilitation experience and experience with neurological or orthopedic conditions preferred.
- Ideal candidates are calm dependable detail-oriented and empathetic committed to supporting long-term patient recovery.
