Job Description
Position: Mainframe COBOL Developer
Structure: Contract 3 months to start
Location: Toronto Hybrid (3x / week)

We have a great new opportunity to support one of our banking clients in a contract capacity!

Must have skills:
1) 10 years of Assembler experience is a must in recent projects.- Working experience and expert on Assembler is a must .
2) 10 years of experience in mainframe development complex programs using Cobol including: JCL IMS DB/DC DB2 Netron VSAM CICS CA7 SAS SDSF.
3) 5 years Experience with Security and environment control systems (Endevor ACF2) Problem Analysis (Fault Analyzer) Database Management (e.g. IMS DB2 VSAM)
4) 5 years experience in Utilities and productivity tools (e.g. MVS/TSO ACR COMPAREX SYNCSORT IDCAMS CRF File Manager etc.) an asset
5) 5 years strong experience of DB2 database z/OS Debugger DFSORT JCL and COBOL
Nice to have
1) Understanding of File Transfer protocols and processes ie. FTP SFTP PGP Encryptio
2) Understanding mainframe integration for ETL processing
3) Experience and knowledge of DevOps
4) Experience and knowledge of web services and APIs an asset
5) Experience and knowledge of web and cloud (Azure) technologies an asset
