Job Description

Job Title: Associate Attorney Casino Defense Litigation
Location: Atlantic City NJ
Employment Type: Full-Time Permanent On-site
Pay Range: As per Exp.

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and driven Associate Attorney to join our dynamic team specializing in Casino Defense Litigation and Employment Law. This is a unique opportunity to represent high-profile clients in the casino and hospitality industries while advancing your legal career in a challenging and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist senior attorneys in initial case evaluation and the development of litigation strategies

  • Represent casino and hospitality industry clients in employment-related litigation administrative proceedings and internal investigations

  • Conduct comprehensive legal research and draft pleadings motions discovery and correspondence

  • Prepare for and conduct depositions mediations arbitrations and trials

  • Participate in settlement negotiations and draft related agreements

  • Prepare legal briefs motions and case documentation in a timely and accurate manner

  • Ensure case files are maintained in accordance with internal procedures

  • Perform other related legal duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

  • Active New Jersey Bar admission required

  • 2 4 years of experience in defense litigation (Casino/Hospitality law experience preferred)

  • Strong working knowledge of Employment Law

  • Exceptional legal writing research and analytical skills

  • High level of organization attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal software tools
