Job Description: Medical Supply Technician (MST)
Location: 4951 Arroyo Road Livermore CA 94550
Period of Performance: 12 Months contract
Citizenship Requirement: US Citizens or Green Card holders only
Work Schedule
- Multiple 8-hour shift options covering mornings afternoons evenings and nights.
- Operations run 24/7; candidates must be flexible and able to work weekends and holidays.
- Schedules are released 2 4 weeks in advance but may be subject to change.
Position Summary
We are hiring qualified Medical Supply Technicians (MSTs) to support healthcare operations in a medical facility. These individuals will manage medical supply processing storage and distribution including the use of automated inventory systems. Services must meet or exceed national care standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage inventory using barcode systems.
- Monitor expiration dates and reorder critical supplies.
- Distribute supplies across departments ensuring timely and functional delivery.
- Receive and inspect incoming medical supplies.
- Prepare specialty carts and clean assigned areas using aseptic techniques.
- Communicate effectively with staff and resolve any supply-related issues.
- Maintain compliance with internal protocols and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in a related medical supply role.
- Proficient in English (reading writing speaking comprehension).
- Ability to verify education certification and training history upon request.
Preferred Certification:
- CBSPD or CRCST certification (not mandatory but preferred).
