Volks Resources has an immediate requirement for a Network Engineer in Houston Beaumont & Brownsville TX.
These are 3 separate positions.
You must have previous recent Network Engineering experience.
This is an onsite position and you must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.

Network Engineer
Experienced Network Engineer to maintain and enhance our network infrastructure using Cisco technologies. Responsible for troubleshooting design implementation and management of complex network environments ensuring stability performance and security.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot LAN/WAN connectivity and hardware issues.
- Design and implement network solutions (configuration administration security).
- Manage routing and switching infrastructure (Cisco routers & switches).
- Implement redundancy (HSRP GLBP) and security (VLANs VPNs).
- Configure routing protocols (RIP EIGRP OSPF BGP) and WAN technologies (MPLS etc.).
- Monitor network performance and implement changes following ITIL guidelines.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Network Engineer.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco routers and switches.
- Strong understanding of LAN/WAN routing and switching.
- Familiarity with network security and VPNs.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
