Seeking a motivated and experienced Lead LPN to support 7 outpatient clinics under Providence primarily at the Providence - MLK clinic (60%) and float to additional locations (40%). This non-travel clinic-based leadership role is essential to managing daily clinical operations at an all-inclusive care center for adults 55.
This is a 13-week contract with the intent to convert to permanent hire focusing on candidates interested in long-term placement not short-term travelers. Ideal for local candidates or those open to relocation. Mileage reimbursement is provided only if commuting to multiple clinics in a single day.
Responsibilities:Lead LPN and CNA operations across multiple outpatient clinics
Direct patient care including medication administration wound care and patient assessments
Ensure clinical protocols and quality standards are upheld
Coordinate with RNs providers and administrative staff for seamless clinic workflow
Support new staff onboarding training and mentoring
Document care and manage EMR entries using Epic
Travel between sites as needed (mileage reimbursed when visiting more than one clinic/day)
Previous Charge/Lead experience required
Must have WA LPN license in hand pending not accepted
Ability to float between Providence clinic locations
Must be comfortable working in a geriatric care setting
Willingness to support multiple teams across 7 clinics
Must be detail-oriented with strong leadership and communication skills
Graduate of an accredited LPN/LVN program
Minimum 2 years of direct care LPN experience
Experience in geriatric or adult day health programs strongly preferred
1 year of supervisory/lead experience required
Current Washington State LPN License (Required)
BLS Certification (Required)
Medication administration (oral IM SQ NG/G-tube ear/eye drops)
Wound care (simple dressings VAC drains: JP/Hemovac)
Blood glucose testing
Phlebotomy
Bathing/hygiene support (sitz bed tub shower)
Foley catheter insertion (male/female)
Pressure ulcer prevention/assessment
Vital signs monitoring
Pain assessment and management
Behavioral health support (including degenerative disorders)
End-of-life care*
Epic charting
Medication reconciliation
Communication with providers regarding patient status
Vaccine administration
Specimen labeling
Follow-up phone calls
Managing pharmacy/patient refill requests
Patient education and documentation
Infection control & isolation precautions
Leadership and delegation
Outpatient Clinic / Urgent Care
Multi-site support & mobile staffing
Leadership in multidisciplinary teams
