Job Summary:
This 12-week contract position requires a Cath Lab Technician with a minimum of two years of experience in a cardiac catheterization laboratory. The technician will provide patient care for a variety of cardiac procedures and diagnoses utilizing specialized equipment and techniques. ACLS and BCLS certifications are required. Previous Providence-affiliated employees must have been separated from the health system for at least three months to qualify.

Responsibilities:
- Performing cardiac catheterizations.
- Administering procedural sedation.
- Managing blood and blood products.
- Performing cardioversion and defibrillation.
- Removing sheaths.
- Managing PICC/central lines Port-A-Cath and other vascular devices.
- Performing biopsies (GI/GU/Renal peripheral vascular).
- Circulating scrubbing and recording during procedures.
- Providing patient care for acute MI interventional and pre/post-procedural patients.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Minimum two years of experience in a Cath Lab.
- ACLS certification.
- BCLS certification.
- Ability to float to other facilities.
- Active professional license (if applicable).
