Job Description:
Job Title : Data Center Technician
Job Type : C2C / W2
Experience : 8-15 Years
Location : San Jose California (On-Site)
Required Skills and Experience:
- Basic understanding of server hardware and networking concepts
- Ability to lift and move equipment (up to 50 lbs)
- Comfortable working in a physical data center environment (cooling systems raised floors etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and organization skills
- Willingness to learn and grow into more advanced infrastructure roles
- Flexible to work in shifts on-call or weekends as required
- Prior hands-on experience in a data center or IT support role
- Familiarity with ticketing systems and documentation practices
- CompTIA A / Network or similar certifications are a plus
- Rack and stack servers network appliances and related hardware
- Perform cabling and cable management for new and existing infrastructure
- Monitor and manage system reboots power cycles and basic hardware diagnostics
- Assist in inventory management and asset tracking
- Respond to hardware alerts and escalate issues as needed
- Work closely with network systems and engineering teams for deployments and maintenance
- Ensure compliance with data center operational policies and safety protocols
Qualifications:

Bachelors in engineering computer science or any other related field.
