Job Description
JD for off Role Site Civil Engineer
A Civil Site Engineer with 6-7 years of experience should be a skilled professional overseeing and managing construction project on-site ensuring adherence to project plans safety regulations and quality standards. They will coordinate with various team members resolve on-site issues and contribute to project success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management:
Oversee and manage construction work from start to finish ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
- Site Supervision:
Supervise and coordinate construction activities on-site including labour subcontractors and material delivery.
- Coordination:
Collaborate with team engineers contractors and ensure effective communication and project execution.
- Quality Assurance:
Conduct site inspections to ensure adherence to project specifications building codes and safety regulations.
- Problem Solving:
Identify and resolve technical issues delays and other problems that may arise on-site.
- Documentation:
Prepare and submit site reports progress reports and other project documentation.
- Safety Compliance:
Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with relevant safety regulations.
- Technical Expertise:
Utilize technical knowledge and skills to interpret plans & specifications.
- Communication:
Maintain effective communication with contractors and project team members.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- 6-7 years of experience in civil construction projects preferably as a Site Engineer.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods materials and techniques.
- Proficiency in using construction software such as AutoCAD will be an added advantage.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures.
- Ability to manage work and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of relevant building codes and regulations
