2. Ability to provide technical guidance code reviews and mentorship to integration developers
3. Deep expertise Guidewire Integration Gateway/architecture
4. Exposure to Guidewire cloud platform
5. Guidewire ACE certified in Integration

Nice to Have
1. Deep understanding of P&C Insurance process and data.
2. Experience in leading technical sprints estimations and backlog grooming

GW Integration Developer certification preferred.
Should be conversant with integration gateway XML payloads failover retries etc Java/Scala

Guidewire BillingCenter Developer

Job Description
The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing enhancing and maintaining Guidewire BillingCenter applications ensuring they meet business and technical requirements. This role requires a strong understanding of Guidewire frameworks and a solid background in Java development.

Must have Skills

5 years of hands-on experience with Guidewire BillingCenter (Configuration and Integration).

Strong proficiency in Gosu programming and Java.

Experience with Guidewire Data Model Product Model Billing Instructions and Billing Flows.

Experience with Integration Development (web services messaging plugins).

Familiarity with Guidewire Studio and GUnit testing.

Knowledge of XML XSD and SOAP/RESTful services.

Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Excellent problem-solving communication and teamwork skills.

Good-to-Have Skills:

Guidewire Certification in BillingCenter.

Experience with other Guidewire modules (PolicyCenter ClaimCenter).

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines Git Jenkins and DevOps tools.

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS Azure) and containerization (Docker Kubernetes).

Knowledge of database technologies (Oracle SQL Server).

Exposure to insurance domain concepts especially around billing and payments.

Familiarity with performance tuning and load testing tools.

Job Responsibilities

Design develop and implement solutions using Guidewire BillingCenter.

Customize BillingCenter functionalities using Gosu and Java.

Work closely with business analysts and QA teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.

Develop integration components using web services (SOAP/REST) messaging and plugins.

Participate in code reviews unit testing and debugging.

Ensure adherence to development best practices and Guidewire configuration standards.

Support deployment activities and post-deployment validations.
