Job Title : Program Manager with Payments
Location: NYC (3 Days office)
Job Type : Contract

As a Design Program Manager within the Payments organization you will be responsible for helping to manage the day to day operations our design system team. This will include managing the team Jira backlog coordinating team rituals and assisting the team of designers with Agile development best practices. You will work closely with designers product managers and engineers on managing a design backlog.
Skills/Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years in an Agile development environment working as a program manager scrum master design operations or similar role.
- Experience working in a User Experience or front-end development focused team.
- Experience working with Jira and Confluence managing the lifecycle of stories/epics/tasks. Understanding of best practices in how to organize Jira tickets across a large team and linking with engineering efforts.
- Ability to socialize and communicate roadmaps and understand roadblocks and release processes.
- Excellent organizational skills ability to communicate to leadership on deadlines and schedules ability to make sure issues are resolved in a timely manner.
Nice to Have:
- Experience working with design systems.
- Experience in a large matrixed organization.
- Background in UX design or similar area.
