Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and design data-driven solutions for large-scale applications within the Wealth Management and Billing ecosystem.
- Lead the development of robust data pipelines using technologies such as AWS Glue Athena and Snowflake.
- Apply caching strategies and data modeling best practices to optimize system performance and throughput.
- Translate complex business requirements into effective scalable enterprise data architectures.
- Ensure all solutions align with non-functional requirements (NFRs) including scalability reliability availability maintainability and performance.
- Collaborate with product managers data scientists and engineering teams to design databases select technologies and define integration patterns.
- Evaluate new tools and frameworks perform technical feasibility studies and provide strategic architectural guidance.
- Document architectural decisions data flows and infrastructure components.
Required Qualifications:
- 10 years of experience in data engineering solution architecture or technical leadership roles.
- Strong expertise in AWS data services (Glue Athena S3 Lambda etc.).
- Proven experience with Snowflake and building high-performance cloud-native data warehouses.
- Solid understanding of caching technologies (e.g. Redis Memcached) to optimize latency and throughput.
- Experience designing and implementing end-to-end data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.
- Strong knowledge of database design data modeling and performance tuning.
- Experience in the Wealth Management and/or Billing domain is highly preferred.
- Deep understanding of architectural patterns non-functional requirements and trade-offs in designing distributed data systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with tools like Apache Spark Airflow or similar orchestration frameworks.
- Familiarity with CI/CD practices in data environments.
- Strong communication skills and ability to translate technical solutions into business outcomes.
- Architecture certifications (e.g. AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are a plus.
