Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Technician Duties
Duration: 6 Months
Work Location: Lawrence KS 66049

Job Description:
- Facilities Maintenance Technician will report to Facilities Manager working in conjunction with the Maintenance Manager.
- This is a general list of duties that are variable on a daily basis.
- When there seems to be no Facility work orders pending the Technician can and will be used for other maintenance duties.
- Parking lot
- Landscaping & Grounds Maint. contracting
- Janitorial Contracting
- Fire Alarm Testing Office
- Annual Fire System Testing coordination
- Annual insurance inspection (FM Global) ( Maintenance Super and Facilities Maint. combined)
- Fire Chief Inspection ( HSE Mgr. Maintenance Super and Facilities Maint. combined)
- EPACS system Equipment up keep (access control is still under HSE Mgr. responsibility)
- Office furniture Upkeep requests
- Office Elevator inspections / maint.
- Roof
- Plumbing - Facilities
- Floor/Concrete
- BLDG infrastructure (i.e. columns siding floor etc.) Exterior Painting
- Fire System Testing
- Banbury (i.e. elevator and lift equipment)
- Facility Lighting
- General facility electrical including conduit and running wires
