Job Description
Job Title :ETL/Data Warehouse Developer (Oracle ODI/PLSQL Specialist)
Location: Albany NY(Hybrid)
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification
Qualifications:
- Proven experience reverse-engineering Oracle Warehouse Builder (OWB) ETL processes and designing equivalent Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) solutions while ensuring functional parity.
- Strong background in data modeling (both dimensional and relational) process optimization data normalization/de-normalization data extraction cleansing and transformation-particularly in a child welfare system environment.
- Extensive hands-on experience in Oracle Data Warehouse development using PL/SQL.
- Skilled in applying advanced ETL techniques such as bulk data operations (select/insert) use of arrays dynamic SQL and building detailed incremental data processing workflows.
- Proficient in developing and testing ODI mappings performing source-to-target data mapping conducting storage capacity planning and implementing end-to-end ETL processes using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI).
- Comprehensive knowledge of the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including requirements gathering development testing debugging deployment documentation production support resolving load issues and inquiries performing second-level testing and managing Oracle infrastructure upgrades.
- Experienced in working within UNIX/Linux environments including writing Unix Shell Scripts and utilizing SFTP protocols for secure data transfers.
- Proficient in designing and building database schemas tables views indexes and stored procedures.
- Holds a Bachelors Degree.
