My primary responsibilities involve ensuring the smooth operation of production systems troubleshooting incidents and maintaining system uptime. In my role I utilize a variety of tools including Splunkfor monitoring and log analysis PuTTY for SSH access to Linux/Unix systems and WinSCP for secure file transfers. Additionally I work with MOVEit and GoAnywhere to manage secure file transfers and automate workflows. I also use Snow for asset management ensuring that all software and hardware are tracked and compliant. A significant portion of my work involves Major Incident Management where I respond to and resolve critical production issues swiftly. I work alongside cross-functional teams to troubleshoot identify root causes and implement solutions. I ensure that major incidents are documented properly with clear action steps and follow-up for continual improvement. I am also heavily involved in Change and Release Management where I coordinate with development and operations teams to plan test and deploy changes in a controlled manner. I ensure that changes are thoroughly reviewed tested and communicated to all stakeholders and that releases are deployed with minimal risk to production systems.
