Job Description:
- We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Desktop Technician to join our team in Calgary AB.
- In this role you will provide hands-on support for desktop laptop and peripheral hardware as well as software and network troubleshooting in a professional IT environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install configure and troubleshoot desktops laptops printers and peripherals
- Perform software installations upgrades and patching (Windows 10/11)
- Provide support for user accounts password resets and access issues (Active Directory)
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues both onsite and remotely
- Manage and resolve tickets through ITSM tools like ServiceNow
- Set up and support video conferencing tools and meeting room tech
- Perform system imaging backups and data recovery
- Maintain detailed documentation for technical procedures and asset tracking
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience in desktop support or a similar IT role
- Proficiency in Windows 10/11 Office 365 and common enterprise applications
- Experience with Active Directory and remote troubleshooting tools
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to lift and move computer equipment as needed
- A Certification or equivalent technical training is a plus
