Job Description:
  • We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Desktop Technician to join our team in Calgary AB.
  • In this role you will provide hands-on support for desktop laptop and peripheral hardware as well as software and network troubleshooting in a professional IT environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Install configure and troubleshoot desktops laptops printers and peripherals
  • Perform software installations upgrades and patching (Windows 10/11)
  • Provide support for user accounts password resets and access issues (Active Directory)
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues both onsite and remotely
  • Manage and resolve tickets through ITSM tools like ServiceNow
  • Set up and support video conferencing tools and meeting room tech
  • Perform system imaging backups and data recovery
  • Maintain detailed documentation for technical procedures and asset tracking
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience in desktop support or a similar IT role
  • Proficiency in Windows 10/11 Office 365 and common enterprise applications
  • Experience with Active Directory and remote troubleshooting tools
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to lift and move computer equipment as needed
  • A Certification or equivalent technical training is a plus
