Job Description
Job Title: Azure Data Engineer
Location: Dallas TX.
Long Term Contract
Only W2. No C2C
Role & Responsibilities:
- Data Engineering & Cloud Development:
- Design implement and support analytics solutions for business insights.
- Develop data migration and engineering solutions using Azure services:
- Azure Data Lake Storage Azure Data Factory Azure Functions Event Hub Azure Stream Analytics Databricks etc.
- Implement batch & streaming data pipelines in the cloud.
- Work on data modeling ingestion preparation and testing.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and ensure performance tuning.
- DevOps & Collaboration:
- Be part of a DevOps team that owns and supports the product.
- Work both independently and within a team environment.
- Follow coding standards best practices privacy and security guidelines.
- Minimum Qualifications:
- 3 years of software development experience in an agile DevOps environment.
- 3 years of data analytics experience using SQL.
- 2 years of cloud development and data lake experience preferably Microsoft Azure.
- Hands-on experience with:
- Azure EventHub Azure Data Factory Databricks DevOps Blob Storage Data Lake Power Apps Power BI.
- Scripting & Programming: Python Spark Unix SQL.
- Data Platforms: Teradata SQL Server Snowflake ADLS.
- CI/CD Tools: GitHub Jenkins Terraform Azure DevOps.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in data engineering and cloud technologies.
- Airline industry experience (a plus).
- Azure Development Track Certification (preferred).
- Spark Certification (preferred).
- Strong expertise in Azure cloud services for data processing and management.
