Job Description
Job Title: Lean Manufacturing Engineer
Location: Bothell WA (Onsite)
Job Description & Skill Requirement:
- Minimum 7 years of experience in Value Stream Mapping (VSM) and Process Engineering.
- Proven ability to lead value stream mapping exercises to identify and document business improvement areas.
- Skilled in developing and implementing project plans to achieve Future State goals.
- Expertise in optimizing workflow and cell designs to enhance shop throughput.
- Proficient in process mapping to identify value-added and non-value-added activities waste and improvement opportunities.
- Capable of developing and executing plans to eliminate waste and improve process efficiency.
Technical & Analytical Skills:
- Collaborates with engineers to plan workforce utilization space requirements and workflow for maximum efficiency.
- Applies statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements.
- Leads continuous improvement initiatives through methodologies such as:
- SMED
- POKE-YOKE
- KANBAN
- KAIZEN
- PULL SYSTEM
Communication & Tools:
- Excellent communication skills (reading writing speaking) across all organizational levels.
- Proficient in tools including:
- MS Visio
- Excel
- PowerPoint
- Word
- Microsoft Teams
- SAP
Qualification:
- Bachelors degree in Industrial Manufacturing Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum of 7 years with proven experience utilizing Six Sigma and/or Lean Manufacturing
- initiatives in production are preferred.
