Job Description
10 years in application development (end-to-end solutions) and 5 years as a Cloud Engineer (Azure focus).
Bachelors Degree
Preferred Certifications:
Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate.
HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate.
Required Technical Skills:
Azure Services: Compute storage networking PaaS offerings.
Database Ops: Backups replication failover (Azure Postgres/Cosmos DB).
Messaging: Kafka Azure Service Bus/Event Hub.
Required Soft Skills:
Self-starter agile (SCRUM) ability to navigate ambiguity.
Core Responsibilities
Design scalable cost-effective Azure solutions using native services (e.g. Azure Postgres Cosmos DB Service Bus).
Address non-functional requirements: availability backups disaster recovery.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Terraform for provisioning.
CI/CD Pipelines: GitHub Actions for deployments (Microservices/Spring Boot apps).
Remediate security findings (IAM data protection network security).
Implement SRE principles: monitoring (Azure native tools) logging and alerting.
Mentor junior engineers on cloud best practices.
Collaborate with DevOps/application teams (ReactJS Spring Boot Kafka).
