Job Overview:
The Host/Hostess is the first and last point of contact for our restaurant guests. In this role youll manage reservations and seating flow manage billing and confirm meal entitlements for hotel guests with dining packages. Your attention to detail and warm presence will help ensure every guest feels cared for and informed.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome guests in a courteous and professional manner
Manage seating charts waitlists and reservations
Coordinate table assignments and guest flow with the service team
Provide accurate wait times and communicate clearly with guests
Manage and close guest checks accurately including handling payments
Maintain a clean organized host station and entrance area
Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries about reservations hours and menus
Provide basic assistance or information about the hotel when requested
Support the team during peak periods with flexibility and positivity
Qualifications :
Previous experience in a host/hostess front desk or customer-facing role preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Basic math skills for handling payments and billing
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Availability to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays
