As a Porter / Concierge no two days are the same. You will assist our guests with all aspects of their arrival and departure experience and everything in between - luggage assistance restaurant hosting door hosting and responding to guest requests - whilst at the same time creating stories that stay.
- Be the first point of contact and greet guests with a warm welcome every time
- Regular checks of the foyer cleaning of curbside (if required) and ensure the Premium Check in Suite is kept presentable at all times.
- Ensure guests are entering the correct lounges with understanding boarding passes
- Provide exceptional service to our guests in every interaction by anticipating their needs responding to requests promptly efficiently and courteously
- Handing over to other departments VIPs checking and any additional relevant information or request to ensure smooth customer experience.
- Explain airport and lounge facilities to guests and answer any questions including applicable flight information.
- Be the face of our lounge
- Welcome our guests and make them feel special
- Assist guests with general enquiries and luggage requests
- Attend staff meetings and training sessions as required.
- General Porter duties as required
Qualifications :
- Previous experience in a customer service role preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Impeccable grooming and professional appearance.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift/carry heavy objects.
- Able to obtain Federal Police clearance to work in the restricted areas associated with the airport.
- Flexibility to work evenings weekends and holidays as required.
